2 SUZUKI SWIFTS UP FOR GRABS IN FINAL DRAW OF DIGICEL’S “ALL I WANT” PROMOTION

February 11th 2010 - 2 Suzuki Swifts Up for Grabs at Digicel

Wednesday February 10th, 2010 - St. John’s, Antigua: Mobile Telecommunications giant Digicel will afford 2 customers a chance to win 2 Suzuki Swifts during the final of their “All I Want” promotion on February 26th 2010.

The promotion, launched in November 2009, will see 3 lucky customers driving away a Suzuki Swift each made possible by Digicel and corporate partners RIM BlackBerry & Hadeed Motors. The second draw, originally cheduled for January 23rd, was postponed due to the earthquake in Haiti on January 12th, 2010.

“Because of the need to urgently place every effort and resource to assist our Caribbean brothers and sisters in Haiti, it would have been inappropriate to proceed with the draw as originally scheduled”, Digicel Marketing Manager Troy Byrne explained.

“We made this decision with the approval of our customers who were very understanding and supportive of our decision to postpone the draw in light of the situation. On this note, Digicel would like to thank the many businesses, organizations and most importantly the people of Antigua & Barbuda who have donated so generously for this most worthy of causes. The good news is that on Friday, February 26th, on the Good Morning Antigua & Barbuda TV program, the nation, and by further extension the world, will see the final 2 Suzuki Swift winners crowned”.

Ms. Carol Josiah of Paynters was the first person to enter the winners’ circle when she received an early Christmas gift by selecting the lucky key at the first draw, now she anxiously awaits the other winners to join her.

Customers are still eligible for a chance to win once they for talk 3 minutes or more on a local call, Top up $25 or more, buy a phone or a BlackBerry or pay their bill on time and in full, but must do so before February 25th in order to have their chance to win.

This time around, which is a little different from the first draw, 20 finalists overall will be invited to try their luck with 10 finalists in 2 segments.
