DIGICEL CUSTOMER WINS $14,000 IN GAME SHOW
February 15th 2012 - DIGICEL CUSTOMER WINS $14,000 IN GAME SHOW- Nikesha Nicholas wins a whopping
$14,000 in Digicel game show
Friday, December 9th 2011 – St.
John’s, Antigua: Nikesha
Nicholas of New Winthropes walked away with a whopping $14,000 in Digicel’s
Cash or More Cash TV Game Show, aired last night on ABS TV.
Now in
its second week, Nikesha turned up the excitement a notch when she grabbed
$14,000 in the Digicel cash vault having earned her place by scoring the most
points during the trivia segment of the show. The final round was nail biting, as
Nikesha wagered 300 of her 800 points.
Nikesha’s
gamble paid off when she was the only one of the contestants who had the most
points left after wagering to secure her place in the vault. Nikesha fell to
the floor in disbelief as the host emphatically announced her as the winner.
“I can’t
believe it,” she said in the moment, “I honestly thought I lost, but God works
in mysterious ways. This is a really happy moment for me – thank you Digicel!”
Prior
to entering the cash vault, Nikesha said she hoped to grab as much money to
help her mother who has a lung ailment – and with $14,000, she is well on her
way to doing so.
Digicel
Marketing Manager, Troy Byrne, said; “At Digicel, we are always looking for new
and innovative ways of delivering the best value and with our latest Christmas
promotion, we are doing just that.
“Next
week we will be giving away another $50,000 and in the final episode of the
promotion, it will culminate in a big Christmas Jam Session party on December
23rd when four Digicel finalists will have a chance to grab up to
$100,000 in cash. We’re very excited about the coming weeks and we encourage
everyone to participate in this exciting promotion by topping up, buying a
phone or paying your postpaid bill on time and in full because you could very
well be the next person to win big money from Digicel,” he continued.
The
excitement is certainly building around this game show as the next two weeks is
promised to be just as exciting.
The
other finalists – Kadijah Joseph, Charles Corbin and Marva Ambrose - all
received $500 call credit for three months.
The TV
game show produced by ABS TV & Digicel airs every Friday evening at 8pm on
ABS TV.
