DIGICEL'S $10,000 WINNER GRATEFUL
September 15th 2009 - SIXTH $10,000 WINNER ENTERS WINNER CIRCLEAnother Digicel customer is $10,000 richer.
Carlos Bennett, the sixth $10,000 winner in Digicel $100,000 GIVEAWAY promotion, was inducted into the winners circle and presented his winnings on the Good Morning Antigua and Barbuda programme on ABS Television last Friday.
When asked about his plans for the money, a reserved Bennett said the money will go toward assisting his five children’s schooling. He expressed gratitude to Digicel for putting some of his money worries to rest.
Troy Byrne, Digicel marketing executive, was also present and congratulated Bennett saying, "Carlos is a well deserved winner and I’m extremely happy for him and the others who have won and I know the money couldn’t come at a better time considering the current economic crisis."
Since the launch of the promotion on 10 June, Ricardo Anthony, Timothy Kitt, Corliss Henry, Hugh Forde, Jason Joseph and now Carlos Bennett are the lucky six customers to enter the "winners circle" with 4 more winners to go before the conclusion of the promotion on 31 October.
Digicel customers who top up $15 or talk for 3 minutes will be in with a chance to be the next 10 "thousandnaire". Winners are chosen every other Friday at 10 a.m., on The Digicel Show 92.9 VYBZ FM. The 7th winner will be selected this Friday coming.
