Friday August 13^th 2010, Antigua: Digicel, Antigua and Barbuda’s Bigger, Better Network, has announced details of its “Back to School” promotion which will give five lucky students school scholarships worth EC$1,000 each.

The promotion – which runs until August 31^st – gives customers the chance to nominate a child to be one of five winners of EC$1,000 in school scholarships with the purchase of any new handset or postpaid plan. In addition, customers get $60 free credit with the purchase of any new Digicel prepaid handset.

As part of its ongoing commitment to Antigua and Barbuda, Digicel also recently sponsored the Antigua and Barbuda Association of Persons with Disabilities summer camp for children with disabilities which took place from July 5^th – 12^th. The summer camp hosted over 60 children and adults to eight days of events including a cooking competition, an arts and crafts day and a day of snorkeling at Stingray city.
