November 17, 2011, St. John’s Antigua: Digicel today wowed customers across Antigua and Barbuda with the launch of its $250,000 Christmas Cash Grab promotion live on GMAB yesterday.    

 

Along with chances to win up to $250,000 in the weekly cash grab game show, “Cash or More Cash”, Digicel’s Christmas Cash Grab promotion is giving back to customers with free weekend calls for postpaid customers, cash back to every customer which can be used for free calls, and free talk on local calls for an hour after talking for the first three minutes.

 

Digicel Commercial Manager, Janice Sutherland, said; “As part of our promise to deliver the very best value to our customers across Antigua and Barbuda, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our “Christmas Cash Grab” promotion which is giving away a whopping $250,000 in cash”.

 

Brucella Marsh, Star of Good Morning Antigua & Barbuda, coined the launch of Digicel’s $250,000 Cash Grab promotion as “Digiday” due to the generosity of the promotion. The Antigua & Barbuda For Life Brand ambassadors were present at the launch, with special performances by Tizzy, Tha Shya, a charity Cash Grab with Mongoose with $5,000 going to the Adele School and 4 security guards protecting the Digicel Cash Vault!

 

Marsh will also host the weekly CASH OR MORE CASH TV Gameshow, which will be broadcast on ABS TV every Friday, from December 2nd.

 

Sutherland continued, “There are a host of exciting activities and events planned over the season including a Christmas Carol competition in which three choirs will go head to head each week for a chance to win EC$10,000 towards a community based project. In addition, Digicel is also hosting a free Christmas concert and a Christmas party for the Adele school – so there’s something for everyone this holiday season!”

For a chance to enter the cash vault, customers must top up $15 or more and collect the letters to spell the word CASH, buy a handset or blackberry smartphone or pay their postpaid bill on time and in full.

 

The Digicel Christmas show will air on ABS TV every Friday night at 8pm beginning December 2nd and a rebroadcast the following day.
