YOU ONLY PAY 3c PER MINUTE AFTER 3 MINUTES ON LOCAL CALLS FROM DIGICEL
St. Johns, Antigua May 15, 2009: Antiguans & Barbudans can today talk longer for less to family and friends with Digicel’s launch of another innovative promotion dubbed ‘3 CENTS AFTER 3 MINUTES’.
In this promotion, customers simply pay the regular rate for the first three minutes of their call and thereafter they are only charged three cents per minute if they remain on that call, up to one hour. As usual, all calls on the Digicel network are charged per second..
This is just another of the benefits that customers on the Bigger, Better Network can enjoy for being part of the Digicel family especially at a time when an economic crunch is affecting every aspect of the cost of living.
“Digicel believes that staying connected is vital in these hard times and we are ensuring that our valued customers can contact friends and family and have real conversations without undue fear of the costs,” said Darren Derrick, Digicel’s country manager, “we believe that the need to communicate is greater in tough times and we will help.”
The promotion is available to all Digicel’s subscribers while calling their family and friends at any local number, on any network at any time.
As a bonus and to launch the promotion, Digicel will also give an additional $5 Digi-credit to all persons who purchase top-up of $15 or more at any of their three retail stores located at Woods Mall, Redcliffe Street, and Barbuda. Please note this bonus offer of an extra $5 is available for ONE DAY ONLY, Friday May 15, 2009.
“In these hard economic times Digicel is committed to finding ways to give customers Bigger Savings and Better Value while staying in touch with their family and friends,” said Troy Byrne Marketing Executive of Digicel Antigua.
